1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Chatrix, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Chatrix. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate information during registration
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Share, display, or transmit sexually explicit content involving minors
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use Chatrix for any illegal activity
• Attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse-engineer the platform
• Spam other users with unsolicited messages or promotions
• Record or redistribute video chat sessions without the other party's consent

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination and may be reported to law enforcement.

5. Coins & Payments

Coins are a virtual currency used on Chatrix. You earn coins for free through the daily login bonus (10 coins per day) and referral rewards (50 coins for you and 50 for the friend you invite). Where offered, coins can also be purchased. Coins can be spent on virtual gifts and on 24-hour unlocks of the gender and country match filters. Coins have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We may change how coins are earned, priced, or spent at any time.

6. Match Filters

Gender and country match filters can be unlocked for 24 hours by spending 30 coins. There is no subscription or premium membership. Filters only match you with people who have set their own gender and country, so a filtered search may take longer. Chatrix may modify, add, or remove filter features with reasonable notice.

7. Content & Conduct

Chatrix does not pre-screen user interactions. We rely on community reporting and automated tools to enforce our guidelines. If you encounter inappropriate behavior, please use the in-chat report button or visit our Report Abuse page.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Chatrix is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time via the Settings page.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
