Safety Center

Your safety is our top priority. Here's how to stay safe on Chatrix and what to do if something goes wrong.

Protect Your Identity

Never share your full name, address, phone number, workplace, or financial information with strangers on Chatrix.

Be Aware of Your Background

Before starting a video chat, check what is visible behind you. Avoid revealing identifiable locations or personal items.

Keep Your Account Secure

Use a strong, unique password and never share your login credentials. Log out when using shared devices.

Block & Report Bad Actors

Use the in-chat report and block buttons immediately if someone makes you uncomfortable. Your reports help keep Chatrix safe.

Recognize Scams

Be cautious of users who quickly ask for money, gift cards, or personal favors. These are common signs of scams.

Trust Your Instincts

If an interaction feels wrong, end it immediately. You are always free to skip or disconnect from any chat.

Community Guidelines

Chatrix is a platform for genuine human connection. To keep it that way, all users must follow these guidelines:

  • Be respectful. Treat every person you meet with basic dignity.
  • No nudity or explicit content unless on designated opt-in streams (not currently available).
  • No hate speech based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
  • No harassment or bullying. One warning, then a permanent ban.
  • No spam or commercial solicitation.
  • No content involving minors in any sexual context. Zero tolerance — immediate ban and report to authorities.

How We Moderate

Chatrix uses a combination of automated detection and human review to enforce our guidelines. Users can report violations directly in chat using the flag icon. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours. Serious violations are escalated to law enforcement as required.

See something wrong?

Report it immediately. Every report makes Chatrix safer for everyone.
